The Chinese ´sharp eyes´ system in the era of hypervigilance: between state use and risks to privacy

This article studies contemporary digital hypervigilance and the ways through which citizens' sensitive data are collected analyzed for different purposes, contextualizing it in sharp eyes system, originated China. Specific objectives: i) to describe technological forms of surveillance based on personal behavioral generated individuals' online communications; ii) understand how States private organizations use electronic surveillance; iii) comprehend a high-tech system by Chinese State, Sharp Eyes system. Methodology: hypothetical-deductive procedure method, with qualitative approach bibliographic review research technique.
